Company Logos & Customer-Supplied Items

Q: Can you engrave or print my company logo?
A: Yes! Submit your logo through our website and we’ll review it to determine the best method—engraving or printing.

Q: What file type works best for logos?
A: We prefer .AI (Adobe Illustrator) files. Other formats can work, but may have limitations depending on quality.

Q: Do you provide mock-ups before ordering?
A: We provide proofs after an order is placed, but we do not create mock-ups prior to purchase.

Q: Do you charge to redesign my file?
A: If your file needs to be recreated or adjusted for engraving, we’ll contact you before starting. Design fees typically start at $10+, depending on complexity.

Q: Can I bring my own items to be customized?
A: Yes! You’re welcome to bring in items like apparel, drinkware, or signs for customization.

Q: Is it cheaper if I provide my own items?
A: In most cases, yes—you’ll only be charged for labor and any materials used during the process.

Q: What if something happens to my item during production?
A: When supplying your own items, you assume the risk. Some materials can react unpredictably to engraving or pressing. We’ll always communicate potential risks ahead of time.
Example: Glassware and coated tumblers may require test runs to ensure proper settings.

A: Yes—just reach out and we’ll do our best to accommodate changes.

 

Q: What if someone doesn’t show up?
A: If materials have already been prepared, we are unable to offer refunds for no-shows.

Q: Do you offer bulk or corporate orders?
A: Yes! We handle both small and large orders, including employee and client gifts. Reach out to discuss your project.

 

Q: Do you offer bulk pricing?
A: We may offer discounted pricing depending on quantity—contact us for details.

 

Q: What is your turnaround time?
A: Most custom orders are completed within 3–14 days, depending on size and complexity. Rush orders may be available.

 

Q: Do you ship orders?
A: Yes! We ship anywhere in the U.S. Shipping costs vary based on item size and weight.

 

Q: Can I pick up my order?
A: Absolutely! Local pickup is available at our Louisville location.
Please note: Painted Tree locations do not allow order pickups.

 

Policies & Customization

Q: Can you use my logo?
A: In most cases, yes! Submit your file and we’ll determine if it’s suitable for engraving or printing.

 

Q: What is your return policy?
A:

  • Non-custom items: Return within 5 days of purchase

  • Custom/personalized items: Final sale unless defective
    Customers are responsible for return shipping or bringing items back to the shop.

 

Q: Will I see a proof before production?
A: Yes—for custom designs, we’ll send a digital proof for approval. Standard designs do not include proofs.
