Return & Exchange Policy

Here at The Lantern Boutique, we try to keep it simple when it comes to returns, refunds, or item replacements. 

If, for some reason, your item(s) arrives damaged, please reach out to us within 5 business days of receiving the product so we can figure out a solution. Solutions could include a refund or we may be able to ship a replacement item.  This will be discussed with you when you reach out. 

Unfortunately, we do not offer returns or exchanges on custom-created items once the order is in production. Now if they are damaged in shipping please reach out as well so we can come up with a plan. 

 

If the item is not customized you can return it to us for a refund. The buyer is responsible for the shipping costs to send the items back to us. Please note the refund might come back in a different form of payment than how you paid. We will look at all options.

Shipping Policy and deadlines

Shipping deadlines for the 2024 holiday season will be updated once they are posted. 

The Lantern Boutique Holiday order cut-off is December 9th for in-stock items. Any orders placed after this date, in stock or custom-made articles, are not guaranteed to be done by Christmas. The Lantern Boutique doesn't keep some items in stock, so your order may require us to order the product from the supplier before we can customize it for you. Please reach out to us before placing an order if you are trying to get it before a specific date.

 

Please take note of the following shipping deadlines: Shipping orders are NOT guaranteed by USPS or The Lantern Boutique. Most items are shipped via USPS, but we reserve the right to ship with another carrier if needed. Please remember we need a few days to process your order and create your beautiful items. Please note that custom orders or special orders may take longer to produce. 

Below are the USPS cut-off deadlines. Please take note that our order cut-off is Dec 9th, as stated above.

 

  • Priority Mail: 1-3 days, ship by Sunday, December 22nd

  • First-Class Mail: 1-3 days, ship by Saturday, December 21st

  • USPS Retail Ground: 2 to 8 days, Dec 16th deadline 

 

 

Once the item leaves our store, we do not control the speed or delivery of the USPS, FedEx, or UPS shipping process. We offer Free pick up at our shop, or for a small fee, we offer to meet up at Scooters of 144th & I80 or doorstep delivery in the Omaha area. Any charges shipping charges will be shown in the cart at checkout.  

 

You do have the option to pick it up at our location in Louisville, Nebraska.  The pick-up time will need to be scheduled with Mandi - (402) 515-2763

 

We will do our best to get the product shipped to you as quickly as possible, but please understand that some custom items may take longer to produce and get shipped. 

 

The Lantern Boutique is not responsible for lost or stolen packages unless we input your shipping address wrong. You will be responsible for the reshipping charges if you input your address wrong at checkout and the item is returned to us. If the package is delivered to the wrong address, you will need to reach out to the person at that address. 

If we input your address wrong we will refund or replace the order

We will not reship your items if you do not pay the reshipping charges if they are incurred. 

 

If the shipping carrier loses your item, you will be required to submit a claim with the carrier. The Lantern Boutique will do its best to assist in your claim.
